The Shimano L04C disc brake pads are metal (sintered) pads with cooling fins, designed for excellent stopping power and durability in both wet and dry conditions. They include a spring and split pin for installation. The cooling fins, also known as radiator fins, are made from aluminum and help to dissipate heat, preventing brake fade during long descents or heavy use.
