Every single tube of the Orbea Avant has been designed for a purpose, to be light, to be strong, to aid comfort. Each tube is made of triple hydroformed triple butted aluminum. It is a light material which is easy to work with, as well as being budget friendly. To reduce weight Orbea thins the walls where the support isn’t needed and keeps thickness in the key areas like joints. This makes for a lightweight, durable bike that is built for endurance. Also the geometry has been altered to make for a more comfortable endurance ride.
Orbea endeavors to have ultimate power transfer to the pedals with no wasted movement. To achieve this, they lengthened the head tube,giving a higher hand position. This lets the rider ride upright. A much more comfortable position, one that can be maintained for hours.
